We are now recruiting for the position of AGSC Executive Director in the wake of the departure of our beloved Jo Smith.

AGSC Executive Director

Contract length: 1 year, part time, renewable

Salary: $41,600 per annum ($800 per week)

Hours: 20 per week, flexible delivery of hours

Location: No central office, work from home

Job Function: Management, policy, community engagement, financial management, grants, membership, events, Board governance and general administration.

The Australian Guild of Screen Composers (AGSC) is looking for a highly motivated Executive Director, with established connections in the Australian film industry, to manage its operations. The successful applicant will be an excellent strategic thinker with strong financial management and governance skills, a well-organised administrator, and adept at communications and relationship building. They will also have knowledge of the current state of the Australian screen composition industry.

Key responsibilities of the role include Board governance, policy development, financial management, communications, administration of our membership and subscriptions, development of funding submissions and liaison with key partner organisations.
