Jason Fernandez’s film scores have delighted audiences across the globe. His love of exotic and kaleidoscopic rhythms partnered with processed orchestral and other acoustic instruments lends his music a modern and unmistakable sound. Jason is recognised for his striking and original approaches to films, coming up with distinctive musical ideas that further the narrative in unexpected ways. Based in Sydney, Australia, Jason has performed varied roles as a composer, score producer and music editor for more than 15 years with many of the country’s finest directors including George Miller, Baz Luhrmann, Kimble Rendall, Gregor Jordan, Russell Crowe, and many others. A rare combination of musical and technical ability, Jason is also widely sought after for his musical-technical skills, including the testing and development of music software and sounds for most of the leading software creators. In addition to this, he develops his own processes in Reaktor and other software – leading his music into beautiful unexplored sonic territory.
